Hide & seek addition to the Mi Casa, Your Casa installation at the High Museum of Art.

About this project

  • Created awareness in the community & unique buzz about the installation.

  • Utilized social media to alert our followers that small "casa" were being placed around the Atlanta area for them to discover.

  • Worked with graphics to create an accordion style booklet of happenings & free admission opportunity to the High Museum to go along with the mini casa.

It was a fun way to reward our social media followers & help them find another way to engage with this exhibition.

The Installation

Through November 30, 2014, the High Museum in Atlanta invited all to enjoy the interactive installation Mi Casa, Your Casa. Located in the center of the Woodruff Arts Center’s campus on the Sifly Piazza, the installation featured thirty-six three-dimensional, open frames in the shape of a house.

The houses formed a blank canvas for community engagement and activity in a basic form recognizable and relatable to all – the home. Created by contemporary Mexican designers Héctor Esrawe and Ignacio Cadena, the vibrant red houses invite visitors to be a part of the art. This was the first project of a two-year initiative to activate the piazza for the Atlanta community.
